Raised beds are a great way to grow in healthy, fertile soil (which is important in Calgary where we are often stuck with clay one inch down!)

We’ve created a clean, modern design that looks great. No extra trim all over, just a minimalist look that you can even put in your front yard like I do.
Quality materials
We build our planters from Canadian Western Red Cedar. Cedar stands up great to the elements and lasts a long, long time. It isn’t treated with any chemicals so you can grow veggies without fear.
Unlike store bought planters, we use thick deck boards for our planters (specifically 5/4 boards for those woodworkers out there).
Instead of dainty little pin nails, we use screws which won’t easily wiggle their way out with the seasonal changes.
We also make sure that all the screw holes are hidden on the inside of the planter boxes. So you won’t see any screw heads or pin holes on the outside of your planter (which inevitably rust and leave unsightly stains)

Cedar grows fast and is well managed in Canada. No pressure treatment chemicals are used. Plus, growing your own food is one of the most eco friendly things you can do!
